Between the 24th February and the 13th March Dean Briggs who is an Apostolic Leader , Author of Blood Communion Revival & Ecklessia Rising toured across Australia and visited 7 different cities. The purpose of his visit was to mobilise the nation in preparation for the World Prayer Assembly that is coming to Perth in October.
Generation Fire hosted 2 events with Dean Briggs a Prayer Furnace at YWAM on the Saturday evening and a Lunch for Pastors on the Monday. What a whirl wind of a weekend.
The Sound of the Holy Spirit moving is in the air. The sound of people crying out to God, An increase in spiritual hunger fills the room. Reports across the nation of an Asbury style move of God hitting different locations. I would at one point describe moments like this as the Calm before the storm. The smell of rain before the rain would come. When Fire is about to hit you can smell smoke. The tipping point the bowl is about to pour over.
On the Saturday Donny had taken Dean up the blue mountains to the High Place and prayed from a Strategic location known as Malaita Point. This is like a Spiritual Jerusalem for those native to the Solomon Islands. It was from this location a movement of prayer and mission was launched in 1908 by Florence Young that saw the Gospel go to the Solomon Islands. Both had a powerful time of prayer and surrounded by the beauty of Gods creation.
I find it strategic when you can begin a visit with going to the High Place. And in places like these the strategic work is done. It's possible through united prayer that the spiritual atmosphere over a city can change. Its Possible god can save a nation in a day when the people of God come together in United Prayer and Worship.
As Dean toured around the nation he was very quick to pick up on the Story that God has given over the region. Psalm 110 , the Womb of The Dawn , The connection between the Solomon Islands and Australia.
Why it is God's time for Australia to host the World Prayer Assembly. Further to this how God is calling us to a 21 Day Fast. Even before Dean landed on our shores I was having this sense God wanted to call Generation Fire to a Fast.
It was the story of the Ferrari that confirmed it. I shared with Dean about this story of the Hills Hoist and the Ferarri. This Story originated from the Heart Felt Gathering in 2011 Mt Victoria when Lindsey Aitken Visited Sydney it was in that visit that God highlighted the Hills Hoist and how it represented the Old Wineskin. And the new wineskin was the Ferarri.
During our most recent visit to Perth in January that kicked off this journey. One crazy prophetic day where we had just prayed at the Birth Canal of the Swan River in Perth we are on the way back and Lindsay says out loud . It would be nice to see a Ferrari with a 777 on the number plate just to have the icing on the cake.
And then the lord sends this to answer that prayer
When Dean Briggs saw this Photo he saw Fast 21 Days. This is the Call brothers and sisters. Its a call to a nation and it is a call to Generation Fire to Fast in Lead up to the International Gathering in Nepal and for the Coming Move of God. We need a New Clear Word and Release of God's power over our lives .
Going to YWAM on the 25th February was like going back to our old stomping ground. Generation Fire began at YWAM Western Sydney in 2006 , and for many years we would have prayer furnaces at the base and different times we would have Prayer Furnaces in Newtown, Parramatta and in Western Sydney. But God doesn’t just want these gatherings to happen in just one place. But to light the whole nation up with spot fires.
This is what a move of God could look like. This is what Generation Fire is like. Those whose hearts burn for Jesus coming together. And they sure did come together from all different parts of the city. The Jesus Freaks of Sydney. And they Worshipped , They Prayed , There was repentance , there was reconciliation. There was healing , there was a powerful sense of God's presence.
Dean Briggs brought a powerful word on Prayer and making decrees to shift a nation. A Live Stream on Facebook was made. And a Video on Youtube is available from the Pastors Lunch.

Our vision is to see a generation carry the fire of heaven and the presence of God to nations. Obviously this is no small thing. A christian who has encountered Jesus , embraced their identity as a Child of God born of heaven and filled with the Holy Spirit. Being expressed through a Worship / Prayer / Mission movement.
For the last 3 years we could not travel. 2023 is the year we travel again. It is the year God calls us to dream big and to act boldly. What we do is not just about coming together in prayer and worship. It is holistic.
Preaching the Gospel with Signs , Wonders and Miracles, Making Disciples, Equipping the Saints, Healing the Sick, Casting out Demons. This is all apart of what Jesus calls us to do.
As a movement our focus is about equipping the saints and making disciples. We do this through building a prophetic culture in the place of prayer and sitting at the feet of Jesus. Teaching people how to pray, how to read the bible, how to pray the bible and to hear the voice of God. We teach people how to be led by the Holy Spirit. To be a movement that is led by the spirit of God.
In about 4 weeks from now Nepal will host the International Gathering and this is a faith adventure and we are inviting you to come or help someone else to come.
