Inviting Pastors & Youth Leaders from Sydney and Surrounding areas

 

The Team from Generation Fire would love to invite you to join together in such a time as this.

Our desire is to love on you and serve you as leaders of this City and to share with you the vision that God has been revealing to the team for 2010 and to share with you what is Generation Fire and how we are serving the wider Body of Christ

The time together will be spent with passionate worship, united prayer and a hear various speakers who are involved with seeing the Kingdom of God advance.

We will also be spending some time sharing about National and Global Events such as the National Day of Thanksgiving and the Global Day of Prayer

We will also provide space for you to develop relationships with other like minded leaders.

Besides that a Free Breakfast for you to enjoy and being served by the Generation Fire team.

We are inviting anyone with an interest or calling to start a prayer furnace in your university campus to please be in contact with our team. We will be holding a Skype call for uni students - Date to be advised.

 GENERATION FIRE SKYPE CALL This Thursday  EVENING 9PM Sydney Time - for all those who would like to come to South Africa.

We have 2 weeks to go to Finalise a team for South Africa if God is calling you to come we need to hear from you asap- The team will travel to different cities in South Africa and possibly hit other nations aswell once the team is finalised then an itinerary can be confirmed.  If you would like to sow financially towards this trip perhaps donate an airfare or frequent flyer points please email missions@generationfire.com.au

Will you give over to me a NEW DAY, the First day of the New Year?

At the last study / fellowship night when praying the spirit asked this question of us.  It was also a little prickling for me and made me hesitate as it was the 1st time he had spoken in a way like a Prophet of old would have spoken – A SERIOUS REQUEST.

The Lord was earnest in his asking. 
Can we give over this day as a present to Him,
Can we set aside a day of distraction to be focussed,
To wait without striving,
To listen to His spirit,
To still ourselves in His presence,
To be obedient even if He says nothing?

This is not a simple ask, it is hard to be still when we are so used to “doing stuff” but it will be worth it because He who loves us so intently asks.
 

Kindling days are times where we can be prepared to be carriers of His presence.  The times will come where the Fire is strongly manifest but we need to learn how He wants to prepare each of us individually for the tasks we are invited to participate in.
 

The Father has a passion for us to live in His VISION. It will be a time of contention, not because of me / us but because God is speeding up time / processes / development etc to raise up His children to be the strong people in Him he desires.  I need transformation of my life into the new me.  The old me should be nailed to a cross through my Lord, the new me needs to breath and shout out the Joy of KNOWING who God is.

 

This is how you can be involved where ever you are - set aside this whole day to gather - and use this time to spend in soaking worship, waiting upon the lord, and listening for what the Father May want to Say

Confirmed Trips

May 19th - 30th  South Africa

We will be mobilizing an international team to join in with the 10year anniversary of the Global Day of Prayer it is anticipated that close to 5000 will gather for the conference.

However we need to start getting a list of names of those would like to be apart of the team, all of you will need to cover your own expenses when it comes to Airfares, Food, Registration, etc..

Anticipated cost will be $2500- $3000 per person so start praying now

More Updates on Mission Trip destinations will be out before Christmas.

The Leadership team made a decision this week that instead we will consider putting on a dinner where the team would invite you to for no cost, and as a team we will serve you on the night.

THE FURNACE UPDATE We have seen in the last few weeks amazing things happen - God pouring out his spirit afresh, fire of God hitting people as we gathered for the City Wide Prayer Furnace Friends this is it- What you have been waiting for - gather where ever you can - light fires, start prayer furnaces, mobilising your towns and cities so that they would burn for Jesus We are currently running a Poll on this website - whether the Furnace should be moved to Saturday Nights- we would love to hear your responce The Purpose is to fan the flame – to see a generation consumed with Holy Ghost fire, and see a release of the sounds of heaven and prayers of the next generation. Next Furnace is Friday 1st May @ The St Marys House of Prayer From 8pm onwards Infact we believe the holy spirit has given us a mandate to see Prayer Furnaces emerge in Every University Campus across Australia. The time for revolution has come - do you want to be apart of this revolution.
