Philippines Typhoon Appeal
If you have not heard by now The Philippines has been hit hard this year with several major Earthquakes and Typhoons and hundreds of people if not thousands have either lost everything or their homes or something precious to them. Generation Fire is inviting you and our members to consider sowing a generous gift towards those who have lost everything. During this Christmas period let us live in Cebu. We have Pastor Allan Octobre who is based in Cebu who has been visiting all the communities that have been impacted by the Earthquakes and Typhoon. The opportunity is ripe for the Gospel. Generation Fire will be sending a team in April 2026.
Cebu and surrounding islands have been hit hard by recent typhoons and subsequent flooding and landslides, leaving many families without homes, clean water, electricity or access to basic medical care; this devastating situation presents a unique opportunity for Christians and neighbours to respond practically through donations that support immediate relief — food, shelter, medical aid and rebuilding — while also strengthening long-term recovery and spiritual care. Allan Octobre, Generation Fire Coordinator in Danao City, Cebu, is on the ground coordinating relief efforts, connecting resources with local churches and volunteers to deliver aid quickly and pastorally; supporting his work means your gift will not only meet urgent physical needs but also enable ongoing outreach, pastoral support and community restoration in a context of great need.
