120 Prayer & Mission Leaders Meet in Herrnhut

Between the 8th - 12th May in Herrnhut Germany close to 120 Leaders had converged and gathered from around the world in a historic moment as a convergence took place between Prayer and Mission movements.  The Event was hosted by Jesus Haus , organised by the Light of the World Prayer Centre Bellingham , and Led by the International Prayer Council.

The line up of presenters was rich , the worship was led by the Jesus Haus team they did an amazing job.

Testimony by someone who attended the event                                                                               It was enriching and inspiring (even wrecking and challenging) to hear from prayer movement leaders and mission movement leaders about what God is doing in the nations (some of their stories are ones you don't get to hear everyday), and see these leaders unite in the pursuit of the closure of the Great Commission by focusing on reaching the unreached people groups and committing to not only 'pass the baton' to the now generation of youth and children, but to run with us in this journey. Holding the consultation in Herrnhut, Saxony, Germany, where Count Zinzendorf and the Moravian refugees had over 100 years of 24/7 prayer that saw the sending of the first Protestant missionaries to the ends of the earth, made it even extra moving and awe-inspiring. Their graveyard is alive and speaking! What if God is ready to do it again with this new wave of refugees in Europe? And did you know that children played an important role in that revival?

Donny McGregor represented Generation Fire at this Consultation and led the Thursday Night Session where the Holy Spirit moved in a special and powerful way which a real sense of Gods Glory being released.

There was a theme coming throughout the week where there was a sense of a massive wave about to hit which falls in line with the vision of the Firestorm received in 1998.   The sense also that God was opening up ancient wells, and Herrnhut is certainly one of those wells.

There was amazing unity on the Final Day where many exchanged contacts , and a new accord was drafted called the Herrnhut accord which would state that mission and prayer movements around the world would agree to partner together in fulfilling the Great Commission.

Below are some of the new friendships made of Next Generation Leaders.
