Greetings from Bali!
Perpetual burning... a flame of fire... (Hebrews 1:7) a holy desire and hunger for God. For him to increase and for me to decrease, to see the wonderful manifestation of heaven here on earth! Great expectations and faith in his word!
G’day from Nay! I'm well, I have had a few different bugs and challenges, but joy and peace intact-I greatly appreciate your prayer and support.
I've been in Bali since early July; teaching during the day, spending time at the orphanage, holding meetings at my place and John and Made's. Visiting churches and villages. I am part time working for an Australian family; the children are from Perth in primary school and high school. I enjoy working for this family, but have struggled motivating the youngest with his school work, the family enjoy life here and have come with me several times to the orphanage. The children's home is run by Asian Pacific Children's fund and brings me much joy! I spend a few afternoons there a week, helping with homework and taking different ones out for a trip. The soaker meetings are for receiving and deeper things. Is a safe place for folks to practice their gifts and encourage one another? We have a group of about 10, I believe it will grow and spread. A lot of pastors are dry and minsters are leaving ministry because of that. Soaker is a place for repentance and waiting on God. It's a place to go back to our first love and let him have his way. I love it!
I've been speaking and praying with people over meals, in taxi's, on the beach and in homes. The common theme in people's hearts is the lack of peace they feel. A lot of Hindu's believe all religion is the same, others are very caught up within the new age movement, and some have shown interest in coming to church. I have been to churches thick in religion and bondage, free but chaotic and structured yet dry. I've got over a month and a bit here and I'm expectant for more healings, deliverance, for myself too!
Right now, my friend has arrived and we are going to the beach! A beautiful woman, who does clinics in village with the poor. Please pray for her, Tina. Also, Rod, Bruce, Nyoman, Cassie, Chloe, Made. Just to name a few of the folks being invited into the kingdom...
God bless,
Love Naomi Hermawan

Mission update BANGLADESH

Well, What can we say? God seems to do more than we ask or think. We Arrived hot and tired after travelling around the world to a small village in North Bangladesh. Greeted by more than 180 young people gathered for the Bangladesh National Generation Fire conference.
The singing and dancing began. These young people came from far and wide; by walking, bicycle or bus. Their hunger and thirsts for the things of God was Ernest! They came from different denominations and experienced the presence of God. Many for the first time received Jesus as Lord .First time experienced Holy Spirit. First time prayed for another person. And so many miracle happened as a result. We the Team from Australia taught them many practical applications of faith and we were aware of angelic activity and a strong presence of God the whole time.
Alice, one of the Aussie team has a story...

All day travelling north in the van. Only 30kms from India and it was fascinating! lush green rice crops, men fishing in the river and goats in the middle of the highway. Yes goats! Everywhere in fact. This is Bangladesh!
Pastor Bony,National Director Generation Fire, was our host for several conferences in Dinajpur and Khulna and took us through the towns and villages to show us the works he has started with believers and non-believers. In our travels he took us to eat with his many friends from all different faiths in various towns. He introduced us to men in local industries and all those he has befriended through his ministry.
There are glorious transformations going on through this man and the team.
Pastor Bony travels great distances, far more than the many hours we spent to go to conferences just in his daily ministry. Many months of the year he and his team travel by car and rickshaw to the most remote communities and villages for God's work, away from his wife and young son.
Orphanage and Sewing Centre/ Sowing centre
My favourite of Pastor Bony's projects was the orphanage. I held 26-day old baby Hannah, and prayed for her. I knew it is a miracle that this little baby girl is still alive. Without this orphanage she probably wouldn't be. The children were immensely joyful, as were their carers. It is Bony's vision to see many more community projects.
When you think of a Ministry centre, no doubt you think of a concrete building with computers and chairs and overhead lights. We were slightly surprised after we passed an old boar on a rope 'guardian the path' more goats, more chickens and mud buildings to a small room with five sewing machines packed with women and men. The village sewing centre is in a small building and has old style singer sewing machines. An object like a sewing machine is a luxury item and a lifeline to employment and a place in the community. By teaching the men and women how to sew they can support themselves and their families. Our team were shown the samples the people from all faiths and backgrounds have created. It is Bony's heart to see a ministry centre developed for all these projects. I could see the amazing potential to change a nation in the warm community I witnessed in this small room. The objects that for us are 'no big deal' are life-changing in Bangladesh! A sewing machine, a bicycle, school materials are the difference between someone finding a community that love them and experiencing God’s love. I have become aware of how much we take for granted in our nation. Please support and pray for Pastor Bony as his work is changing lives every day! Generation Fire in Bangladesh is READY to explode with the love and grace of God to the lost.
Generation Fire Conference 2010, young believers are unashamed, pure, teachable and joyous in a way that reminds you of what Jesus said "Become like little children". The women and men dance exuberantly with hearts so pure and focused on the Lord. The national Generation fire team prepared worship that would teach students, action songs that reminded them of God's love for them. Pintu the worship leader was able to move them from a vibrant song into the deepest worship. He is truly a man lead by the Spirit with great potential. I enjoyed singing, dancing and flowing in their joy!
Several times over the two days the lord poured out his presence and the young people wept. As the delegates learned to pray for each other, hearts opened and tears flowed. Young women fell to their knees lost in the presence of God and young men embraced each other crying. The waves of God's love poured over us and some boys lay down under the Spirit.
Ananda- 'Old Man Fire' preached the word with fire that shook us all. He is an inspiration from illiteracy and poverty to a man marked with the Fire of God. When we left that conference I felt truly bonded to Bangladesh and God's heart for our 200 youth. We are truly partners, friends and we are The Army of the Lord.

What Stands Out! & Areas we can partner with this exciting ministry
-
The team in Bangladesh are living by faith and Generation fire as a movement needs your prayers and support to help each of us to touch nations with the fire and love of Jesus christ.
-
In Bangladesh we have Bony and Anil who are serving full time in pioneering this movement. God has used Anil to start 17 prayer furnaces in the north of Bangladesh and many new churches aswell.
-
Anil recently received his first bicycle to enable him to travel to these 17 different villages thanks to the generous giving from Australia.
As a movement we sponsor Ps Bony $400 each month which allows him to feed his family and pay his rent and other expences each month and also enables him to travel across Bangladesh spreading the fire of god and the goodnews of the gospel. Bony has networked and touched a nation.
Ps Anil who is based in regional Bangladesh receives support of $100 per month - and with that he is advancing the Kingdom of God. One new Bicycle will cost $140 that enables them to preach the gospel.
$50 will feed one family in a major city for one week and educate their children. No major ministry or denomination financially sponsors these people - they are in a hostile environment where persecution exists yet they are seeing an amazing move of God.
